Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information quantumzone LLC ("we", "us"), which runs the Slop Tycoon Official Store at sloptee.store, collects when you visit the site or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Order details: when you check out, you give us your name, email address, phone number and shipping address, along with what you ordered.
• Payment details: card and wallet payments are handled by Stripe on its checkout page. We never see or store your full card number.
• Mailing list: if you join our list, we store your email address, the date you signed up and the page you signed up from. The list is stored encrypted.
• Messages: if you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.
• Server logs: like most websites, our server records basic technical information about each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
• Site activity for advertising: the Meta pixel records the pages and products you view, what you add to your bag, and whether you check out or buy (see Advertising).

How we use it

• To process your payment, make your order and ship it to you
• To send order confirmations, receipts and shipping updates
• To handle replacements, refunds and support requests
• To measure our ads and show them to people who may be interested
• To prevent fraud and keep the site secure
• To keep records the law requires, such as tax records

We only send marketing emails if you join our mailing list, and only about new editions. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any list email, or by emailing us.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the companies that help us run the store, and only what they need: our payment processor (Stripe), our fulfillment partner (Printify) and shipping carriers, our email provider (Resend), and Meta for advertising (see Advertising). We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Advertising

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. This site uses the Meta pixel to measure those ads and to show our ads to people who may be interested, including past visitors. The pixel uses cookies and sends Meta the pages you view, the items you add to your bag, and checkouts and purchases with their order value, along with technical details such as your IP address and browser. It doesn't send your name, address or payment details. Meta handles this information under its own privacy policy.

To opt out, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser: when your browser sends that signal, we don't load the pixel. You can also block third-party cookies, manage the ads Meta shows you in its ad preferences, or opt out of interest-based ads at optout.aboutads.info.

Cookies and browser storage

The Meta pixel sets the only advertising cookies on this site, and we don't use other analytics or tracking tools. Your browser also saves a few preferences on your device: your bag, your theme, and inches or centimeters. You can clear these in your browser settings. Stripe's checkout page uses its own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud.

How long we keep it

We keep order information as long as we need it to fulfill your order, handle replacements and meet legal and tax requirements. Mailing list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are deleted after 15 days.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email orders@sloptee.store and we'll respond within 30 days. We may keep records the law requires, such as order and tax records. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights, such as the right to opt out of sharing for advertising, which you can do with Global Privacy Control. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.

Security

The whole site uses HTTPS, and payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, though no method of storing or sending data is perfectly secure.

Children

Our store isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we do, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
